Arts Academy Orchestra with Concerto Winners Benefit Concert

Each year the Interlochen Center for the Arts generously donates the proceeds of the concerto winners concert to the Friends of the Library.  This money is used to fund the library's annual summer reading program. 

Tickets are $9 for adults and $6 seniors and students and can be purchased at the library, the ICA ticket office and online at https://tickets.interlochen.org/

This is a wonderful concert so save this date as something for you to enjoy while helping support your library.

Sleeping Bear Point

Join Ross Richardson, local diver and writer, as he presents information on six shipwrecks located in the Manitou Passage just south of Sleeping Bear Point. 

This free program takes place after a lunch at noon that is offered to seniors age 60 and over who live in Grand Traverse County. Attendance at lunch is not required. The charge for lunch is $2.00 for members of the GT Senior Network and $5.00 for non-members. To register for lunch call 922-4911 and ask to sign up for the Interlochen Lunch & Learn on February 16. Call to register by Tuesday, February 14 at 5 pm.
