The theme for the 2012 summer reading club is Dream Big- Read!
Our Summer Reading Club (SRC) takes place every Wednesday at 10:30 am for six weeks during the summer. The purpose of this program is to encourage children of all ages to read and use the library. Our employees, "Miss Ann" and "Miss Kim" and their volunteer helpers do a wonderful job presenting this program.
We also add to our special summer children’s programming by offering an arts and crafts program on Wednesdays for three weeks after SRC.
In addition, for all nine weeks of our children's summer programming, Katie the therapy dog is here at noon after each program. Katie is a 130 pound St. Bernard who loves to be read to. Katie brings her Welsh Corgi friend, Denny, with her and he likes to be read to also!
